Spatial skill activities for Beginners

1. Teach them basic shapes like circle, triangle, star, square, oval and colours like red, blue, green, yellow, purple.(identification and labelling) 
2. Teach them to sort objects and pictures according to shapes and colours. 
3. Teach them prepositions like in, on, under. In object level(keep ball under the table, put coin in the box) and with picture level (Apples are on the table, cat is sitting under the table) 
4. Sequencing activities by step  
5. Copying patterns with objects and pictures.(different level) 
6. Three dimensional shapes by building with blocks having height, width and depth.

Today, I was driving back home after dropping Addu to Pragati. Due to heavy traffic, vehicles were moving very slowly and I was driving peacefully, listening to music. How i taught my son to type - Explained Step by Step

    My son had great difficulty with tripod grip and he was not able to write after his Early Intervention programs.so when he was 8 years old I decided to teach him typing and I taught him step by step. After that I started sharing that videos to help other kids.Lots of parents contacted me for the step by step procedure of typing and so again I am posting it for them. All these steps I did and it helped my son to learn.I hope it will help other kids too. Most important things is CONSISTENCY. We should do step by step consistently. Q: Why structure is important for children with autism? Ans: Most of the children in the spectrum have high anxiety and they need predictable routines. ASD children will struggle if there are sudden changes in their daily routine. a  structured environment with visual schedule will help the child understand his day to day activities. It gives a clear idea about each activity including the beginning and the end. Like this structured environments helps the child reduce anxiety, confusion and behavior problems.
